Come aggiungere informazioni tecniche a un componente

Questo articolo non è ancora tradotto, quindi mostriamo la versione in inglese.

Technical tests are lab results measuring a component's physical properties — colorfastness, abrasion resistance, bursting strength, dimensional stability, fabric weight, pH and similar — attached to a component to evidence how it performs.

Technical tests are not certifications. Certifications (GOTS, GRS, OCS and the like) are credentials your company holds, managed from your company page; technical tests are per-component lab measurements. The two are tracked separately and never substitute for one another.

  1. On the component's page, click Add Test.
  2. Choose a test type from the list of available tests. Each type defines its own set of fields (e.g. numeric ranges, pass/fail, dates).
  3. Fill in the lab name and the date tested.
  4. Upload the lab report (PDF or image, up to 10MB). TexCloud can automatically read the file and pre-fill the lab name, test date, and field values for you to review before saving — check the extracted values carefully, since OCR isn't perfect.
  5. Complete or correct any remaining fields, then click Save.

A test's status (pending, pass, failed, rejected) defaults to pending until a report is attached and reviewed. You can attach multiple reports to the same test, and add as many different test types to a component as needed.
