Cómo añadir especificaciones

Specifications record measurable details of how a manufacturing process was carried out — for example, dye temperature, thread count, or weave density.

Prerequisite: the component must already have at least one manufacturing process (see How to add manufacturing processes) — specifications always attach to one specific process, not to the component directly.

1. On the component's page, find the manufacturing process you want to add detail to, and click Add Specification.
2. Choose a name — if TexCloud recognizes common specs for that process type, you'll get a dropdown of suggestions; otherwise type your own.
3. Enter the value, and an optional unit (e.g. °C, gsm, threads/cm).
4. Click Save.

You can add multiple specifications to the same manufacturing process, but each spec name can only be used once per process.
