How to create a company
Creating a company is the first step to using TexCloud as a buyer or supplier. Go to New Company to start a four-step wizard.
- Basics — Enter your company name (checked live for duplicates), country, and tax ID (validated against your country's tax registry once you enter it, then checked for uniqueness). You can also add tags to help others find you.
- Location — Fill in your address, city, state, postcode, phone, email, and an optional website URL.
- Manufacturing — If your company manufactures components, check "We manufacture components" and select the processes you offer (e.g. weaving, dyeing, cutting) from the grouped list. This becomes your company's manufacturing palette, which you'll draw from later when setting up facilities.
- Certificates — This step is informational; you'll add certifications from your company page after creating the company.
Click Save on the final step to create your company. You'll be redirected to your new company page, and a 14-day trial of TexCloud Pro starts automatically.
If you were invited by an existing supplier and your tax ID matches an invitation, TexCloud automatically links your new company to that invitation.
