How to request a sample

Requesting a physical sample of a component is done through your cart, similar to an online store checkout.

1. On any component that's marked as sampleable, click the cart icon to add it. Adding the same component again just increases its quantity.
2. Open your Cart to review the items, adjust quantities, or remove items.
3. Click Checkout. You'll need an active TexCloud Pro subscription to proceed.
4. Choose a shipping address — your company's address or a saved address — and, where the supplier supports it, a shipping option.
5. Submit the request. If the supplier accepts payments through TexCloud, you'll be taken to a secure checkout; otherwise, your sample request is created immediately and the supplier will follow up to arrange payment and shipping manually.

Track your requests from Samples, where each one moves through requested → preparing → shipped → fulfilled. You can cancel a request yourself while it's still in requested or preparing.
